Couvent de Saint Saveur
Constructed shortly after the abbey of Saint Victor, the nunnery of the Holy Savior overlooks the Place de Lenche. The convent was historically quite important; many convents across France were established by sisters trained at the Holy Savior nunnery.
The convent sits atop the “caves of the Holy Savior,” what legends hold to be Greek cisterns or wineries which run beneath the convent and the adjacent square.
