Bio:

The Landais is a pony of Gascony, in the pine forest of the Landes region near the mouth of the Garonne River in southwest France. The pony is an old breed, popular as a riding horse particularly for children and women.

The Landais is a handsome pony, with a fine-featured head, a nicely-arched neck, strong back and a broad chest. It stands between eleven to just over thirteen hands. The mane and tail are thick. Coat colors include bay, black, chestnut and chocolate.
